Shunt Valve for Biomass Heating Systems – Twinheat

The Twinheat shunt valve is an efficient 3-way valve designed to protect the boiler and ensure optimal operation of your biomass heating system. The valve mixes the return water from the heating system to ensure that the water temperature returning to the boiler is always maintained between 60–70 °C

By maintaining a sufficiently high return temperature, the risk of condensation inside the boiler is reduced. This helps protect the boiler against corrosion and pitting while also extending teh boilers service life.
